Edward Idell

Edward Idell is an associate at the Los Angeles office of Bonne, Bridges, Mueller, O'Keefe & Nichols.  Edward received his undergraduate degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and J.D. from the University of Miami Law School at Coral Gables, Florida in 1980, where he was Editor in Chief of the Alumni Association Magazine.

In his law practice, Edward's expertise lies in Medical Malpractice, Appeals, Business Law, General Civil Litigation, Commercial Law and Personal Injury Law.  Edward is President of the Wilshire Bar Association and President of Project Cuddle, a charity which serves homeless pregnant girls and tries to prevent baby abandonment.  He is also active with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society‚Äôs endurance event fundraising programs.

Some of Edward's appellate accomplishments include Serrano v. Superior Court (2008) - established the court's jurisdiction to regulate court reporter fees; Serrano v. Stefan Merli Plastering (2011) - established right to attorney fees under private attorney general statute for court reporter reasonable fee requirement.

Edward was admitted to the Florida bar in 1981, NY in 1981, and California in 1989, and is licensed to practice law in all California courts.  An avid runner, Edward has run 21 marathons.
